They did it in a spanking new stadium to boot.

St. John Bosco (Bellflower, Calif.) rolled to a 42-0 halftime lead before coasting to a 49-0 win over Timpview at the school's new 7.2-million Panish Family Stadium on Friday night.
According to the
Press-Enterprise, Bosco (1-0) forced five turnovers, including four interceptions, allowed just 119 yards and the running trio of
George Holani,
Keith Savage and
Nate Jones combined for 233 rushing yards and four scores, and
DJ Uiagalelei passed for two scores.
"I couldn't have scripted it any differently," Braves coach Jason Negro told the Enterprise. "We came out with a lot of energy and were able to get ahead of them early. It's a great facility, and this was a memorable moment for the program."
