The Mahwah Thunderbirds fans better hope the squad plays one heck of a game on Thursday as the odds are decidedly against them. They will head out on the road to face off against the Dumont Huskies. Dumont will be strutting in after a win while Mahwah will be stumbling in from a loss.
On Tuesday, the Thunderbirds lost to Pascack Hills at home by a decisive 40-25 margin.
Meanwhile, the Huskies made easy work of Fort Lee on Tuesday and carried off a 60-36 victory.
Mahwah was close but no cigar in the teams' previous meeting in January as they fell 51-47 to Dumont. Can Mahwah avenge their defeat, or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll soon find out.
