There's no place like home for Guyer, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Berkner Rams with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. The Wildcats not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 26th (when they won 3-0).

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Guyer took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-13, 25-14.

Leading Guyer to victory were Brynlee Beago and Megan Barnett. Beago had six digs and three aces, while Barnett had six digs and one assist. That's the most aces Beago has posted since back in September of 2024.

They weren't the only good server: Guyer was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in three consecutive matches.

Guyer's victory bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Berkner, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season.

Guyer didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Rockwall-Heath on the 5th. As for Berkner, they have also already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Lebanon Trail on the 5th.
