The Holland Patent Golden Knights came tearing into Saturday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15 points) and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victor by a 55-33 margin over Adirondack. That's another feather in the cap for Holland Patent, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
It was another big night for Terralyn McLaughlin, who scored 12 points along with six steals. McLaughlin is crushing the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kirsten Lighthall, who scored 13 points.
Holland Patent now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Adirondack, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
