Baseball Recap: Bishop Watterson Continues Home Dominance on Wednesday

There's no place like home for Bishop Watterson, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They walked away with a 7-2 victory over the St. Francis DeSales Stallions on Wednesday. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Stallions on Monday, they had to take a 10-7 loss.

Blaise Strausbaugh spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on four hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Ben Burleson, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs and one RBI. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Brady McAninch was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
