Bethany Christian's loss came despite strong showings from Justin Hochstedler and Tyson Chupp. Hochstedler scored six points, while Chupp scored 13 points along with five rebounds.
Bethany Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Fairfield, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.
Bethany Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 60-48 win vs. Lakewood Park Christian on the 9th. Fairfield has also already played their next game, a 74-66 victory against Fremont on the 9th.
