After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Skyview, Camas was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They blew past the Heritage Timberwolves 13-4. The result was nothing new for the Papermakers, who have now won six contests by nine runs or more so far this season.
The team relied heavily on Kaitlin Simmons, who went 4-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Sophia Chambers, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with two RBI and one run.
