The Dillingham Wolverines had to endure  a  nine-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against King Cove by a score of  36-26  on Wednesday. That looming  36-26 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Dillingham yet this  season.
 King Cove's  defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of  MaryMae Brandell, who  scored 12 points along with three  steals and two  blocks, and  Sierra Rocili who  scored nine points along with five  steals. Brandell is absolutely dominating the  steal category: she's  posted at least two every time she's  taken the court this season.
 Dillingham's victory bumped their record up to 1-3. As for King Cove, their loss was  their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 1-3.
 Dillingham does not have any more games scheduled as of now. King Cove won't have much time to rest: their next  matchup is against Newhalen at 3:00  p.m.  on January 25th. Newhalen will be coming into the  match with an undefeated record on the line.
