Mundon  got on base  in four of his five plate appearances with two  runs and one  double, while  Kupihea  went 2-for-3 with three  runs and one  RBI. That  double was  Mundon's first of the season.  Isaiah Konishi was another key player,  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances with three  RBI.
Kapa'a pushed their record up to 8-2 with the  victory, which was their seventh straight  at home. Those  home  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Waimea, they now  have a losing record of 1-2.
