Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead New Town to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tarshay Bell, who scored 12 points. Nasia Hart was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Western Tech & Environmental Science can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They walked away with a 52-41 victory over Franklin.
New Town's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.4 points per game. As for Western Tech & Environmental Science, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.
Everything came up roses for New Town against Western Tech & Environmental Science in their previous matchup back in February of 2023 as the team secured a 60-25 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for New Town since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
