Clymer/Sherman is  a perfect 9-0 against Cassadaga Valley since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Wolves will look to defend their home field  against the Cougars  at 5:00  p.m. Clymer/Sherman is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.6  runs per game  this season.
Clymer/Sherman will roll into the  matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two  runs  on Thursday, then bounced right back against Frewsburg  on Saturday. The Wolves put the hurt on the Bears with a sharp  15-2 victory. The  win continues a trend for the Wolves in their matchups with the Bears: they've now won seven in a row.

 Elli Bodamer was a  major factor no matter where she played. She  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only two  hits while striking out nine over five innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts any time she's  pitched this season. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 3-for-4 with two  runs, two  doubles,  and two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Janelle Burchanowski, who  went a perfect 4-for-4 with six  RBI, four  runs,  and two  doubles. She has been hot, having also posted  at least one  stolen base the last five times she's  played.  Caylee Pinzok was another key player,  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances with two  runs and one  RBI.
 Clymer/Sherman was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .517. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  batting average total in three consecutive  contests.
Meanwhile, Cassadaga Valley had to endure  a  three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with  a   7-3  victory over Frewsburg  on Thursday.
 Catie Russell spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned  (and two unearned) runs on five hits.
 On the hitting side,  Emiley Anderson was  excellent,  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances with two  stolen bases and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Anna Burlingame, who  went 1-for-4 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double.
 Clymer/Sherman's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Cassadaga Valley, they now  have a winning record of 4-3.
 Clymer/Sherman took their  victory against Cassadaga Valley  in their previous matchup  back in April by a conclusive  9-2 score. Will the Wolves repeat their success,  or do  the Cougars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
