The Central Jaguars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 20 points or more this season. They were the clear victor by a 62-41 margin over Laurel Hill. Given Central's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 254th, while Laurel Hill is ranked 594th), the result on Saturday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Perhaps the best among them was Carson Baxley, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Those 17 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Kaden Ellison, who scored 14 points.
Central's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Laurel Hill, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.
