Several Knights players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Dariel Liranzo, who scored 14 points. Luis Placido was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Dwight-Englewood's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points per game. As for New Milford, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-2.
Dwight-Englewood will head out on the road to face off against Cresskill at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New Jersey (Cresskill is ranked 161st, while Dwight-Englewood is ranked 162nd). As for New Milford, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Waldwick at 7:00 p.m.
