Leading Overton to victory were William Livingston and William Carter. Livingston scored 12 points, while Carter scored 16 points. The contest was Carter's 11th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jehmel Madison, who scored seven points.
Overton's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.8 points per game. As for KIPP Nashville Collegiate, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games.
