On Tuesday, Canby ended up a good deal behind Annie Wright and lost 49-32. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Canby has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Canby still got an impressive performance from Dallas Michel, who scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Brauckmiller, who scored three points.
Canby bumped their record down to 2-3 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. That rough patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.2 points per game. As for Annie Wright, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.
Canby won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Oregon City at 12:00 p.m. on December 20th. Oregon City has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 241 points over their last four matchups. Annie Wright will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Life Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2024.
