Ryland Bradford Tops All Others This Week
Starting off the list is Abilene's Ryland Bradford, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Bradford's receiving production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 113 receiving yards dating back to last season. He showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 69 yards.
The win (which was Abilene's fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2. Bradford and Abilene will host Tascosa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Abilene was led to victory by Ethan Joyner, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Thursday. Joyner's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 116 rushing yards dating back to last season.
For the year, Joyner has run in 9 touchdowns while averaging 94.4 rushing yards per game.

Big Game from Finch As Coronado Won 34-31
Demarion Finch helped snap Coronado's six-game losing streak. Nobody could stop Finch on Friday as he rushed for 112 yards and three touchdowns, and also picked up 48 receiving yards. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in August.
Finch will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Amarillo on Thursday. The contest will pit Finch up against the Sandies' star running back Jude Dunivin. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

A Season-Best Effort from Tristan Beal Leads Abilene over Lubbock
Tristan Beal produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Abilene to the win on Thursday. Beal threw for 340 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.0 yards per attempt.
On the year, Beal has thrown 11 touchdowns (and no picks) while averaging 122 passing yards per game.

Xavier Vargas Has Career Rushing Day
On Friday, Caprock had to settle for second even though Xavier Vargas put up the best numbers he has all season. Vargas rushed for 179 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.8 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 61 yards.
Caprock is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6. Vargas and Caprock will challenge Lubbock at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
