Tipton had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 53-18 win over the Russellville Indians. The Cardinals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by 22 points or more this season.

Although Russellville took the loss, they still got scores from Justin Seaver, Jonathan Witt, and Jack Lake.

The victory (which was Tipton's eighth in a row) raised their record to 10-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 7.8 points on average over those games. As for Russellville, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-3.

Tipton didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 22-14 victory against Thayer on the 22nd. Russellville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
