The North Thurston Rams''s five-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against River Ridge and snuck past 13-10. The victory was just what North Thurston needed coming off of a 46-2 loss in their prior game.
Nathan Ung threw for 28 yards on three of 11 attempts. On the ground, Jason Donaldson jr. rushed for 62 yards.
North Thurston's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for River Ridge, their loss was their ninth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 0-8.
North Thurston will face off against Central Kitsap at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Washington (Central Kitsap is ranked 161st, while North Thurston is ranked 177th). As for River Ridge, they will be playing at home against Capital at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
