The St. Louis HomeSchool P Patriots made easy work of the Bishop DuBourg Cavaliers  on Wednesday and carried off  an  8-2 victory. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Patriots.

 Samuel Hart looked comfortable as he  pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in five consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Vinny Tornatore was  excellent,  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances with three  stolen bases, one  run,  and one  RBI. That's the most  stolen bases  he has posted since back in March.  Will Schark was another key player,  earning two  runs and one  stolen base.
St. Louis HomeSchool P's win bumped their record up to 15-12. As for Bishop DuBourg,  the  loss snapped their winning streak at three games  and leaves them with a 5-4 record.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Louis HomeSchool P will have some time to savor their  victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Union at 4:30  p.m.  on May 7. As for Bishop DuBourg, they will take on Herculaneum at 11:30  a.m.  on Saturday.
