Ridgeline has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge the Mountain Crest Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Ridgeline's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last nine matchups.
Ridgeline stacked an 11th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 68-33 victory over Sky View at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Ridgeline has posted since December 19, 2023.
Emilee Skinner was her usual excellent self, shooting 4-for-10 from downtown and dropping a double-double on 28 points and 11 rebounds. She hasn't dropped below 15points for 12 straight games. Elise Livingston was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Mountain Crest scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They put the hurt on Bear River with a sharp 59-33 victory. Mountain Crest has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 20 points or more this season.
Ridgeline pushed their record up to 15-2 with that victory, which was their 15th straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.7 points per game. As for Mountain Crest, the win got them back to even at 8-8.
Everything came up roses for Ridgeline against Mountain Crest in their previous matchup back in February of 2023 as the squad secured a 68-27 victory. With Ridgeline ahead 36-12 at the half, the game was all but over already.
