After each having a week off, the Oklahoma Christian Saints and the Chisholm Longhorns will shake off the cobwebs and  take on  one another  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both  are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
 Chisholm is hoping to do what Crossings Christian couldn't  last Friday: put an end to Oklahoma Christian's winning streak, which now stands at three games. Oklahoma Christian blew past Crossings Christian 35-3 at home. The  contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached  28-3.
  Wyatt Fitzgerald was a one-man wrecking crew for Oklahoma Christian as he threw for 302 yards and four touchdowns while completing 76% of his passes.  Coleson Morris helped  Fitzgerald out on the ground, picking up 120 receiving yards, while also rushing for 53 yards.
 Meanwhile, Chisholm won against Newkirk/Shidler  two weeks ago with 40  points and they decided to stick to that  point total again  two weeks ago. Chisholm simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Newkirk 40-8 on the road. Considering the Longhorns have won three matches by more than 31  points this season, Thursday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Oklahoma Christian's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Chisholm, the  victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.
 Everything came up roses for Oklahoma Christian against Chisholm in their previous matchup  back in November of 2023 as the  squad secured  a  48-18 win. Does  Oklahoma Christian have another victory up their sleeve, or will Chisholm turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
