On Friday, Faith Academy took a serious blow against Alamo Heights, falling 76-31. While losing is never fun, Faith Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 993rd, while Alamo Heights is ranked 101st).
Among those leading the charge was Hayes Waddy, who scored 17 points along with 5 assists. Matthew Munguia was another key contributor, scoring 8 points.
Faith Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Alamo Heights, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-3.
Faith Academy is on the road again on Friday and play against Whitney at 3:00 p.m. on December 1st. Whitney comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Alamo Heights, they will face off against China Spring at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
