Carson added to the longest winning streak in I Northern - Sierra this week by beating Spanish Springs, 55-42. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
Damonte Ranch and McQueen played the most contested game in the league this week, with Damonte Ranch eventually emerging with a 31-28 victory. Sam Banghart during the win.
Carson's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Garrett Schafer threw for 112 and 2 touchdowns and Andrew Gutierrez had 45 yards receiving. On the ground Nevin Elliott contributed 214 yards. Joey Thurman helped Carson's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 23 yards.

Elliott was a force in the backfield as the Senators bested Spanish Springs.
Eric Anderson was a key player and the best on defense this week as Galena defeated Reno. The 6-foot-2 defensive lineman forced 1 fumble.
Elliott provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Carson beat Scott Hare's team.
6-foot-5 quarterback Kyle Daugherty of the Mustangs is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1,836. He has also thrown 17 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Chaz Clark. The Galena star has 45 catches for 885 yards.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Damonte Ranch and the Senators. Shawn Dupris' team enters the game ranked 16th in the state, while Carson ranks 15th.
Going into this week's contest against the Senators, the Mustangs' Daugherty needs 164 passing yards to surpass 2,000 on the season.
Next week's game between Damonte Ranch and Carson will feature an aerial matchup as Daugherty tests his arm against Gutierrez's defensive ability.
Douglas lost to Reed 55-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
