Gonzaga is ranked highly in their home state, and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Bishop McNamara. Gonzaga walked away with a 17-8 win over Bishop McNamara.
Meanwhile, Our Lady of Good Counsel entered their tilt with DeMatha with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Our Lady of Good Counsel came out on top against DeMatha by a score of 35-28 two weeks ago.
Our Lady of Good Counsel's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB four times. Leading the way was Faheem Delane and his two sacks.
Gonzaga's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Our Lady of Good Counsel, their victory was their sixth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 6-1.
