On Thursday, Pike Road got the win against Charles Henderson by a conclusive 13-1. The Patriots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 games by six runs or more this season.

Ava Milton was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more RBI the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Kelsey Williams, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Pike Road hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least three batters in four consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Park Crossing's offense. They lost 12-0 to Percy Julian on Monday. The Thunderbirds haven't had much luck with the Phoenix recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.
Pike Road is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-22 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.9 runs on average over those games. As for Park Crossing, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.
Park Crossing's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Pike Road hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .349. It's a different story for Park Crossing, though, as they've only averaged .197. Will they be able to contain Pike Road's hitters?
