The Washington Tigers waltzed into their matchup Wednesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 49-46 victory over Green. Washington's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Green, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Washington won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Louisville at 7:00 p.m. on December 14th. Louisville will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. As for Green, they will head out on the road to face off against Hoover at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hoover will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 605th, while Green is ranked 219th).
