Hunter Ford ran for two touchdowns and
Cory Colder added two as well as
Briar Woods (Ashburn, Va.) defeated Potomac Falls (Sterling, Va.) 50-3 on Saturday.
The Falcons were up 35-0 at the half after taking the lead on a touchdown run by Colder in the first quarter.
Briar Woods expanded its lead to 42 points entering the fourth quarter. BW's lone score in the quarter came on a touchdown run by Ford.
Trace McSorley was the top performer for the Ashburn school. The junior quarterback threw two touchdowns. He has now scored three touchdowns on the season.
When the two teams played each other last season, the Falcons came away with a 51-6 victory.
With the win Briar Woods extended its winning streak to four games.
In a AA Dulles game next week Briar Woods (4-0) takes on Tuscarora, and Potomac Falls (0-4) will go up against Tuscarora also in a AA Dulles game.
