The LaBrae Vikings will square off against the Crestview Rebels at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. LaBrae is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.6 runs per game this season.
On Thursday, LaBrae made easy work of Jefferson Area and carried off a 14-6 victory. Considering the Vikings have won 12 games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Leah DeArmitt and Riley Rowe made a big impact no matter where they played. On the mound, DeArmitt tossed 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and five unearned) runs off six hits. Meanwhile, Rowe tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. DeArmitt has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 14 consecutive appearances. At bat, DeArmitt went 3-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and one double, while Rowe went a perfect 4-for-4 with five runs and one RBI. Those five runs gave Rowe a new career-high.
In other batting news, Mariah Jones was incredible, going 1-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Shelby Bragg, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one double.
LaBrae kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are 11-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Crestview lost 11-5 to Jackson-Milton on Thursday.
Crestview saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cassidee Buckley, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI. Another was Lilly Beaver, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one run.
Crestview dropped their record down to 9-8 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home. As for LaBrae, their win bumped their record up to 13-6.
Crestview's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: LaBrae has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.3 hits per game. It's a different story for Crestview, though, as they've been averaging 8.9 hits. Given LaBrae's sizable advantage in that area, the Rebels will need to find a way to close that gap.
LaBrae skirted past Crestview 7-5 in their previous matchup back in May of 2025. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Rebels have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
