Mathis led 2A-1 Region IV District 16 in scoring this week after putting up 42 points on Bishop.
Odem's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Michael Everett threw for 190 and 1 touchdown and Dylan Ceballos had 112 yards receiving. On the ground Everett contributed 126 yards. Derek Alaniz helped Odem's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 49 yards.

Odem's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Owls feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. CJ Romero has thrown for 675 yards and 5 touchdowns this season, while Zach Morales has 15 catches for 307 yards.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Aransas Pass takes on Falfurrias. As it stands, the Panthers are in third, while the Bulls are in fourth.
Everett broke off the longest rushing play in the league this week with a 66-yard run against the Vaqueros. Everett finished the game with 126 yards on the ground as Odem beat San Diego.
