Softball Recap: Blair Wins Going Away Against Lincoln Northwest

Blair got themselves on the board against Lincoln Northwest on Tuesday, but Lincoln Northwest never followed suit. They blew past the Falcons 10-0. The Bears haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Mia McClain was a standout: she went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Laynie Brown, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Blair's record is now 5-2. As for Lincoln Northwest, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coming up, Blair will head out to square off against Standing Bear at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Grizzlies' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Bears' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Lincoln Northwest, they will welcome Norris at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
