The Geneva Knights will head out on the road to square off against the Trinity Prep Saints at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Geneva will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
On Monday, Geneva made easy work of West Geauga and carried off an 8-2 victory. Considering the Knights have won three matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Dallas Esperas spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on four hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Chloe Incinelli was incredible, going 2-for-4 with two triples, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most triples she has posted since back in February of 2025. Alana Pagan-Luu also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
Trinity Prep never got on the board in their matchup on March 6th, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Lake Nona two weeks ago. They put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 24-3 win. Considering the Saints' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
Saanvi Shelke looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Emma Hartung, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, four stolen bases, and four runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Agnew, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, four RBI, and one run.
Trinity Prep always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .771. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Geneva's record now sits at 6-1. As for Trinity Prep, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.
Trinity Prep's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Geneva has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.6 hits per game. It's a different story for Trinity Prep, though, as they've been averaging 12.2 hits. Given Geneva's sizable advantage in that area, the Saints will need to find a way to close that gap.
Geneva skirted past Trinity Prep 2-1 when the teams last played back in March of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
