Wetumpka came tearing into Monday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They slipped by the Prattville Lions 83-82. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 60-36 two weeks ago.

Andrew Voyles continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 25 points and ten boards. Another player making a difference was Justin Godwin, who posted eight points in addition to eight boards and seven assists.

Wetumpka smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in nine consecutive contests.

Despite the loss, Prattville still got an impressive performance from Cameron Lewis, who went 13 of 23 on his way to 32 points and three steals. Lewis is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Xavier Dunn, who had ten points.

Wetumpka pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.0 points per game. As for Prattville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-7.

Wetumpka wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 67-61 victory against Tallassee on the 10th. As for Prattville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, an 87-55 defeat against Pike Road on the 11th.
