Culver will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Rogue River at 7:00 PM. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes : the MaxPreps state rankings predict a close match.
Last week, Culver couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a 16-26 hit to the loss column at the hands of Illinois Valley. Culver got a solid performance out of junior Justyce Loredo, who rushed for 130 yards and 1 touchdown; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the win.
Meanwhile, Rogue River gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener. They put a hurting on they to the tune of 41-0.
Rogue River's victory lifted them to 1-0 while Culver's defeat dropped them down to 0-1. We'll see if Rogue River's success rolls on or if Culver are able to steal their positive momentum.
