After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last six matchups, Hackberry finally came back down to earth on Friday. They lost 17-0 to the DeQuincy Tigers. The Mustangs' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Hackberry's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for DeQuincy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-10 record this season.

Hackberry will host Welsh at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Greyhounds' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Mustangs' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for DeQuincy, they will venture away from home to square off against Hornbeck at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
