Windsor Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Landen Locke, who scored 20 points along with three steals. Reed Barr was another key contributor, scoring 20 points along with four steals.
Despite the loss, Covenant Academy saw an underclassman step up: Seth Daughtery scored six points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Stevens, who scored six points along with three blocks.
Windsor Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Covenant Academy, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.
Windsor Academy will be playing at home against Central Fellowship Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Central Fellowship Christian Academy is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. As for Covenant Academy, they will challenge Trinity Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Trinity Christian presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Covenant Academy in Georgia (Trinity Christian is ranked 238th, while Covenant Academy is ranked 557th).
