Adding to the longest winning streak in Keystone Shortway - Small this week, Clarion Area beat Moniteau 62-0,. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
Clarion Area took down the Warriors 62-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Ian Corbett ran for 145 yards in the win.
Shane Murphy was the best wideout in the league this week as Union fell to Karns City. Murphy tallied 4 receptions for 103 yards.
Corbett was the most successful running back in the league this week. Teammate Damien Slike added to the ground attack by rushing for 63 yards.
Evan Redding put up the best numbers in passing as Allegheny-Clarion Valley lost to Punxsutawney. He finished with 9 completions for 136 yards and 2 touchdowns. Redding's favorite target this week was Mike Suto, who caught 4 passes for 76 yards.
The Knights/Damsels' Cicciarelli Lane and Murphy have formed a dream team this season, leading Keystone Shortway - Small in both passing and receiving yards. Lane has thrown for 682 yards this season, while Murphy, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has 11 catches for 293 yards. Redbank Valley's Mark Strothers leads the league in rushing yards with 560.
One of the league's premier quarterbacks will face off with its top pass rusher when Union and Larry Wiser's team face off next week.
