Laredo LBJ has struggled against United recently, as their contest on Friday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Abraham Huerta rushed for 85 yards and a touchdown. Edwin Bocanegra was his top target, picking up 44 receiving yards.
United's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Atzel Chavez Jr., who threw for 317 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in two touchdowns on the ground. Christian Saldana also helped out as he racked up 122 receiving yards.
Laredo LBJ's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for United, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.
