Last Monday, Linn County had to suffer through a rough 54-16 loss at the hands of the Cardinals. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Linn County in their matchups with the Cardinals: they've now lost eight in a row.
Meanwhile, Bevier was beaten by the Eagles 94-17 on Wednesday. Bevier was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 54-7.
Linn County dropped their record down to 1-11 with that loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Bevier, their loss dropped their record down to 3-12.
Everything came up roses for Linn County against the Wildcats when the teams last played back in February of 2023 as the team secured a 47-15 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Linn County since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
