The Richland Colts were the 62-39 winner over the Larimore Polar Bears when they last played one another back in December of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. Richland took a 51-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of Larimore on Thursday. Richland has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Larimore can attribute much of their success to Avery Gratton, who scored 21 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gratton has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Baron Burns, who scored ten points along with five steals.
Richland's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Larimore, their victory bumped their record up to 1-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Richland will take on Enderlin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Enderlin is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak. Larimore won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Langdon/Edmore/Munich at 7:00 p.m. on December 29th.
