The Midland Adventist Academy Mustangs and Frontier School of Excellence will face off at 5:00 p.m. on February 12th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
Last Tuesday, Midland Adventist Academy came up short against The Daniel Academy and fell 46-38.
Meanwhile, Frontier School of Excellence waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 60-58 win over Chesterton Academy of St. Philip Neri. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Frontier School of Excellence's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mohamed Yussuf, who scored 20 points. Another player making a difference was Othniel Agbavor, who scored 16 points.
Midland Adventist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Frontier School of Excellence, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Midland Adventist Academy against Frontier School of Excellence in their previous matchup back in February of 2022 as the squad secured a 79-21 win.
