Last Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Elmwood-Murdock beat Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer 34-28.

Hayden Gravatt and Wyatt Fulton were among the main playmakers for Johnson-Brock as the former rushed for 166 yards and two touchdowns and the latter rushed for 82 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries. Gravatt's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 161 rushing yards dating back to last season. Quentin Behrends got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
The win got Elmwood-Murdock back to even at 2-2. As for Johnson-Brock, they pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.
Friday's game might be decided in the on the ground. Elmwood-Murdock has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 236.2 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Johnson-Brock struggles in that department as they've been averaging 155.7. It's looking like Friday's matchup might have some serious battles in the trenches.
