After six games on the road, Fabens is heading back home. They will take on the Riverside Rangers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Last Friday, Fabens ended up a good deal behind San Elizario and lost 50-34.
Meanwhile, even though Anthony scored an imposing 56 points on Friday, Riverside still came out on top. Riverside walked away with a 63-56 win over Anthony. The win made it back-to-back wins for Riverside.
Richard Arellano was the offensive standout of the match as he scored 23 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Marcus Jauregui, who scored 11 points.
Fabens bumped their record down to 1-16 with that defeat, which was their 11th straight on the road. As for Riverside, their win bumped their record up to 8-15.
Fabens came up short against Riverside in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, falling 54-43. Thankfully for Fabens, Jose Guardado (who scored 18 points along with seven assists and two steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
