The Belleview Christian Bruins will challenge the Justice Phoenix at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. Hopefully Belleview Christian focused on turnovers this week  as the team gave up six on Saturday.
 Last Saturday, Belleview Christian was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap  as they fell  34-28 to South Park. The Bruins have now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Despite the  defeat, Belleview Christian had strong showings from  Matthew Simonds, who picked up 152 receiving yards and four touchdowns, and  Kyle Polson, who threw for 173 yards and four touchdowns. Simonds didn't just play on offense: he also made 18 total tackles and defended a pass.
 Belleview Christian wouldn't let South Park keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force three fumbles. It was truly a group effort as  Jacob Feathers,  Daniel Canda,  and  Eli Batt picked up one apiece.
 Meanwhile, Justice was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight  loss  dating back to last season. They took a  blow against Gilpin County, falling  50-8. The Phoenix were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  36-0.
 Belleview Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Justice, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.
 Belleview Christian strolled past Justice when the teams last played  back in September of 2023 by a score of  36-20. Will Belleview Christian repeat their success,  or does  Justice have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
