The Tussey Mountain Titans will venture away from home to challenge the Rockwood Rockets at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Tussey Mountain's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season.
On Tuesday, Tussey Mountain made easy work of Southern Huntingdon County and carried off a 19-1 win. The Titans have beaten the Rockets the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Rockets has come to flipping the script.
Landon Myers was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Myers was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Tussey Mountain was able to grind out a solid win over Rockwood when the teams last played back in March of 2024, winning 4-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tussey Mountain since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
