Meanwhile, Kellis waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with 13 straight wins but they left with 14. They managed a 56-51 win over Sunrise Mountain.
Kellis' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Shanielle Mallory led the charge by scoring 13 points along with seven rebounds and six steals. Mallory hasn't dropped below two steals for nine straight games. Luz Marian Santos Mas was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on 15 points and nine rebounds.
Dobson has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season. As for Kellis, they pushed their record up to 23-3 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
