Colony faced West Valley in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Knights' defense stepped up to hand the Wolf Pack a 24-0 shutout. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by 24 points or more this season.

Ella Richarson had another great game (as she tends to do), picking up 188 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Colony didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Richarson and Jalina Fryer.

Colony is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.2 points on average over those games. As for West Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-9.

Colony didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 32-0 victory against Lathrop on the 5th. West Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
