Basketball Recap: Anna Extends Winning Streak to Three

Anna had won two straight games and Keshawn Myles did his part to make it three on Friday. The Coyotes strolled past the Independence Knights with points to spare, taking the game 75-56 with plenty of help from Myles, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 12 rebounds. He has become a key player for Anna: the team is undefeated when he posts at least 15 points, but 4-6 otherwise.

Another player making a difference was Noah Foster, who went 6-for-10 to rack up 16 points. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last six games he's played.

When it comes to explaining why Independence lost, don't look at Kylan Wade. Despite the final result, he shot 50% from the field en route to 25 points. Matt Laurant was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Anna now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Independence, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

Anna wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 48-40 victory against Braswell on the 12th. As for Independence, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 60-45 win against Ranchview on the 12th.
