Donegal has gone a perfect 10-0 against Cocalico recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Indians will look to defend their home field against the Eagles at 4:15 p.m. Donegal is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.4 runs per game this season.
Donegal barely beat Eastern Lebanon County the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Indians were the clear victors by a 20-2 margin over the Raiders on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now won three in a row.
Jordin Meyers made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out 15 batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits (and not a single walk). Those 15 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 4-for-5 with one home run, seven RBI, and one double. That double was her first of the season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Nyah Gibbs, who went 3-for-4 with four runs, two stolen bases, and one RBI. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Madison Coble, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
Donegal was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Cocalico was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 18-4 to Manheim Central.
Chloe Lesher was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with three RBI and one run.
Donegal's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Cocalico, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
Cocalico's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Donegal has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.9 hits per game. It's a different story for Cocalico, though, as they've been averaging 9.5 hits. Given Donegal's sizable advantage in that area, the Eagles will need to find a way to close that gap.
