The Bell Blue Raiders lost against the North Crowley Panthers back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Bell took a serious blow against North Crowley, falling 44-3. Bell was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 23-3.
Maddox Olatunde threw for 27 yards on six of 17 attempts. On the ground, Aidan Garza threw for eight yards on a of two attempts.
Ashton Searl continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for North Crowley, rushing for 160 yards and four touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Chris Jimerson, who rushed for 80 yards on only 11 carries.
Bell has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-3 record this season. As for North Crowley, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.
Bell will head out on the road to face off against Paschal at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Paschal is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. North Crowley will take on Chisholm Trail at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Chisholm Trail has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since August 25th.
