Springfield won the last time they met up with Missisquoi Valley, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. Springfield were the clear victor by a 38-8 margin over Missisquoi Valley. Springfield were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
The victory bumped Springfield's record up to 2-3. Missisquoi Valley are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-5.
Springfield will take on Oxbow at home at 7:00 PM next week. Unlike Springfield, Oxbow will be limping in after taking a loss. As for Missisquoi Valley, they will face off against Spaulding. These teams both have had a rocky road up to this point with five consecutive losses for Missisquoi Valley and three for Spaulding.
